Gnjilane Region : K-Albanian male arrested for striking fellow K-Albanian with a bottle. Prizren Region : Explosion detonated in front of K-Albanian owned shop. No injuries. Pec Region : Grenade thrown at a K-Albanian owned residence. No injuries. Mitrovica Region: K-Serb male shot in the back by two K-Albanian males. PRISTINA Region =============== :: ARMED ROBBERY :: Poturovic Village, Pristina - 23/12 - 1800 hrs. Four unknown masked suspects, who were armed with revolvers, robbed a K-Albanian male while working in his gas station. No injuries were reported. GNJILANE Region =============== :: ASSAULT :: Gnjilane - 21/12 - 2330 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after striking another K-Albanian male with a bottle. The extents of the injuries were not reported. UXO FOUND Gnjilane - 24/12 - 0800 hrs. A K-Serb female reported that she found an unexploded hand grenade near her home. KFOR EOD was tasked and disposed of the device. PRIZREN Region ============== :: EXPLOSION :: Prizren - 24/12 - 0015 hrs. Unknown persons detonated an unknown type of explosive device in the street directly in front of a K-Albanian owned grocery, causing extensive damage to property. No injuries were reported as the owner had just closed her business for the day. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPON / PROSTITUTION Prizren - 23/12 - 1240 hrs. Two K-Albanian males and two Bulgarian females were arrested by UNMIK Police after a search at a coffee bar revealed that the females were engaged in prostitution. A magazine with ammunition for an assault rifle was also found. AUTO THEFT Prizren - 23/12 - Night time hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after he was found selling a motor vehicle that was reported as stolen from a "NGO". FATAL TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Orahovac Town - 23/12 - 1940 hrs. A 9-year-old female K-Albanian child tried to ride on the back of a garbage truck. She tumbled, got caught by the right rear tire and was run over. The girl died on the spot. The truck driver(ethnicity not reported) was arrested. PEC Region ========== :: GRENADE ATTACK :: Dakovica Town - 24/12 - 0155 hrs. Unknown person(s) threw a hand grenade at the home of a K-Albanian female causing damage to the front door and windows. No injuries were reported. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS Pec - 23/12 - 1250 hrs. A Bosnian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after he was stopped at a checkpoint and found to be in possession of a loaded pistol loaded and a knife. The weapons were seized. THEFT Josanica Village, Pec - 24/12 - 1200 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after stealing wooden planks. MITROVICA Region ================ :: ATTEMPTED MURDER :: Vucitrn Town - 24/12 - 0210 hrs. Two K-Albanian males shot a K-Serbian male in the back while stealing his cows. The victim was transported by KFOR to the Mitrovica North Hospital. His condition was not reported as life threatening but the precise extents of his injuries were not reported. No further information given. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- FALSE DOCUMENTS 23/12. Two K-Albanian males were detained when they attempted to exit Kosovo while in possession of false passports. The documents were seized and exit denied. FALSE /STOLEN PASSPORT 23/12. Two K-Albanian males were detained when they attempted to enter Kosovo and presented a false Yugoslavian and stolen passport respectively. The passports were seized. GENERAL JANKOVIC ---------------- STOLEN PASSPORT 23/12. Four K-Albanian males were detained when they attempted to cross the border while in possession of Yugoslavian passports that were reported as stolen. The passports were seized. VRBNICA ------- FALSE DOCUMENTS * 23/12 - 2130 hrs. A K-Albanian male was detained when he attempted to enter Kosovo using a false Dutch passport. The passport was seized and entry denied. * 23/12 - 1945 hrs. A K-Albanian male attempted to enter Kosovo while in possession of a false Slovenian driver's license. The document was seized. CAFA PRUSHIT ------------ ALTERED PASSPORT 20/12 - 1045 hrs. Two Albanian males attempted to leave Kosovo while in possession of old and expired Albanian passports. The documents were seized.
