Gnjilane Region : K-Serb robbed another K-Serb of a small amount of cash. Prizren Region : K-Albanian male abducted, ransom demanded. Pec Region : K-Albanian male arrested for threats to UNMIK and KPS officers. Mitrovica Region: Two Montenegro nationals arrested for illegal trading in fuel. PRISTINA Region =============== :: ARMED ROBBERY :: Besia Village, Podujevo - 28/12 - 0005 hrs. Five unknown suspects armed with knives, axes and guns attacked and robbed two guards employed by OSCE. The suspects took a safe containing currency. The guards sustained minor injuries and were treated at the hospital. Investigation continuing. STOLEN VEHICLE Pristina Town - 28/12 - 10am-5pm hrs. Unknown person(s) stole a vehicle belonging to the NGO "Children's Aid" while it was parked in front of the driver's residence. GNJILANE Region =============== :: ROBBERY :: Vitina Town - 28/12 - 1530 hrs. A K-Serb male was arrested by UNMIK Police after pushing another K-Serb male to the ground and taking a small amount of cash from him. No injuries were reported. PRIZREN Region ============== :: ABDUCTION :: Suva Reka Town - 24/12 - 1615 hrs. A K-Albanian male is reported to have been abducted on 24/12. The victim's mother has been asked to pay a ransom in order to secure the release of her son. Investigation continuing. ASSAULT Donja Rapca Village, Dragash - 27/12 - 1900 hrs. A group of approximately 10 K-Goran males attacked two other K-Goran males. UNMIK Police arrested two of the suspects. No injuries were reported. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS * Mushtiste Village, Suva Reka - 28/12 - 1600 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after a search of his motor vehicle revealed a rocket propelled grenade and ammunition. * Suva Reka Town - 28/12 - 1415 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after he was found in possession of one assault rifle, three hand grenades and ammunition. * Orahovac Town - 27/12 - 0040 hrs. Five K-Albanian males were arrested by UNMIK Police after one of the two vehicles they were travelling in was found with two boxes of ammunition and a knife. PEC Region ========== :: THREATS / INTIMIDATION :: Dakovica Town - 27/12 - 1150 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he made threats towards an UNMIK Police officer and a group of KPS officers. SHOOTING/GUNFIRE Osek Hyla Village, Dakovica - 28/12 - 2200 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after being observed shooting into the air. No injuries were reported. MITROVICA Region ================ :: ILLEGAL TRADING :: Mitrovica South - 28/12 -0400 hrs. Two Montenegro nationals were arrested by UNMIK Police after they were found with a truck loaded with approximately 30,000 liters of diesel fuel for which they failed to produce any documentation. The truck and its content were seized. HOUSE OCCUPATION Mitrovica North - 28/12 - Time not reported. A K-Albanian female reported that a K-Serb female had occupied her apartment in her absence. Investigation continuing. BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- STOLEN PASSPORT 27/12. One K-Albanian male was detained when he attempted to enter Kosovo on a stolen passport. The document was seized and the subject was released. GENERAL JANKOVIC ---------------- FALSE PASSPORT 27/12 - 1645 hrs. Macedonian authorities deported one K-Albanian after he was found in possession of a false passport. The document was seized and the subject was released. VRBNICA ------- NO DRIVING LICENSE 27/12.
