Major Highlights Pristina Region : No significant criminal incidents were reported. Gnjilane Region : K-Serb church destroyed in explosion. No injuries. Prizren Region : K-Serb home destroyed in explosion. No injuries. Pec Region : K-Albanian arrested after threatening UNMIK Police Officer. Mitrovica Region : K-Serb male shot and wounded by unknown suspect. PRISTINA Region No significant criminal incidents were reported. GNJILANE Region EXPLOSION Gornji Livoc Village, Gnjilane - 07/02 - 2145 hrs. An unknown type of explosion destroyed a K-Serb church, which was before in a good condition. No injuries were reported. No further information given. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON Gornji Makres Village, Gnjilane - 06/02 - 2000 hrs. A K-Serb male was arrested after he threatened another K-Serb male with a rifle. No physical injuries were reported. ASSAULT Budriga Village, Gnjilane - 06/02 - 1400 hrs. A K-Serbian male was arrested after assaulting his wife and daughter. No physical injuries were reported. THREATS/INTIMIDATION Kosare Village, Urosevac - 06/02 - 1640 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after becoming aggressive and threatening a UNMIK Police officer. No physical injuries were reported. DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED * Urosevac Town - 06/02 - 2300 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found to be driving while intoxicated. * Urosevac Town - 07/02 - 0031 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found to be driving while intoxicated. * Urosevac Town - 07/02 - 0430 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found to be driving while intoxicated. PRIZREN Region BOMB EXPLOSION Orahovac Town - 07/02 - 1945 hrs. A K-Serb house was partly destroyed in an explosion that took place in the K-Serb quarters of the town. One K-Serb was present in the house at the time of the incident but was not injured. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. THEFT Prizren - 06/02 - 0010 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested after another K-Albanian male complained that he had his pockets picked by the suspects. A wallet was recovered from the suspects who were also found in possession of two knives. VEHICULAR ASSAULT Prizren - 07/02 - 2230 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he deliberately chased and tried to run over a KPS Officer with a motor vehicle. No physical injuries were reported. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPON/SHOOTING Prizren - 07/02 - 2240 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for indiscriminate shooting and illegal possession of a rifle and ammunition. PEC Region THREAT / INTIMIDATION Pec - 06/02 - 1200 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he threatened to kill an UNMIK Police Officer who was investigating cases involving the individual. During the arrest the suspect was found to be in possession of an assault rifle and ammunition. No physical injuries were reported. SHOOTING Rznic Village, Decani - 06/02 - 2230 hrs. Unknown suspect(s) shot with an unknown type of firearm several rounds at a local K-Albanian owned shop. Due to the business being closed no injuries were reported. Investigating UNMIK Police officers also located a live anti-tank explosive inside the shop. The device was removed by KFOR EOD. ASSAULT * Dakovica Town - 07/02 - 0245 hrs. Five K-Albanian males were arrested after assaulting a bakery owner (ethnicity not reported). No physical injuries were reported. * Dakovica Town - 07/02 - 0300 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after threatening and attempting to strike a KPS officer (ethnicity not reported). No physical injuries were reported. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON Dakovica Town - 06/02 - 1315 hrs. During a vehicle check a K-Albanian male was found in possession of a pistol and ammunition. The suspect was arrested and the weapon seized. FORGERY Klina Town - 06/02 - 1500 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for possessing a forged passport and driving a vehicle with no registration documents. Shortly after, a relative of the suspect was additionally arrested after giving false information concerning the vehicle registration. ILLEGAL WOODCUTTING Klina Town - 06/02 - 1330 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after being found to haul illegally cut wood. MITROVICA Region ARMED ASSAULT Mitrovica North - 07/02 - 1300 hrs. When a K-Serb male was tending to his cows in a field unknown person(s) began to shoot at him from a wooded area. The victim was struck once in the leg where he sustained a minor injury. The victim then fled to a safe area where he informed KFOR and UNMIK Police of the incident. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION Vucitrn Town - 07/02 - daytime hrs. Three Moldavian females were arrested after they were found living in Kosovo without legal documents. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. DEMONSTRATION Leposavic Town - 07/02 - 2355 hrs. A group of approximately 10 K-Serbian males demonstrated in front of the Police Station after UNMIK Police attempted to tow an illegally parked vehicle. Verbal negotiations ensued where the situation ended peacefully and without any incident. BORDER Police PRISTINA AIRPORT FALSE PASSPORTS 06/02. Two K-Albanians attempted to exit Kosovo on false passports. The documents were seized and exit was refused. DENERAL JANKOVIC STOLEN PASSPORT 06/02. One K-Albanian attempted to cross the border using a stolen passport. The document was seized and exit was refused. FALSE PERMIT 06/02. One K-Albanian entered Kosovo using a passport that contained a false residence permit. The document was seized and the subject was allowed entry to Kosovo. ALTERED PASSPORT 06/02. One K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using an altered passport. The document was seized and exit was refused. GLOBOCICA ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING 06/02. One Macedonian citizen was arrested after KFOR observed him crossing the border into Kosovo100 meters away from the BCP. CAFA PRUSHIT ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSINGS 05/02. Two Albanians were observed crossing the border through a minefield. Both suspects were escorted to the BCP where they were interviewed and released. INCIDENT OVERVIEW 07.
