Mitrovica Region <> K-Albanian female escaped abduction attempt. >>>>>> REGION PRISTINA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS THEFT/POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS Pristina - 07/02 - 1230 hrs. Four male K-Albanian juveniles were taken into custody for investigation of theft of diesel fuel from a parked vehicle. Subsequent to the arrest, a search of the suspects discovered 250 grams of hashish on one of them. Investigation continuing. PROSTITUTION Pristina - 08/02 - 2326 hrs. One K-Albanian male was arrested after investigators conducted an operation in relation to the possible trafficking of women in prostitution. Eight women (6 Moldovan, 1 Hungarian, 1 Romanian) were removed from a club in the Sunny Hill area and provided assistance. It should be noted that the status of the women involved has not been confirmed. They will be treated as victims unless the investigation determines they were willingly engaged in prostitution. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS DEMONSTRATION Kujmin Village, Pristina - 08/02 - 1800 hrs. Approximately 60 people gathered, protesting the power being out for seven days. The matter was turned over to municipal authorities and the incident ended peacefully. >>>>>> REGION GNJILANE >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS EXPLOSION Budriga Village, Gnjilane - 08/02 - 0045 hrs. A K-Serbian owned home was completely destroyed by an explosion. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. ARSON * Vitina Town - 08/02 - 1143 hrs. Unknown suspect(s) set a K-Serbian owned house on fire. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. * Vitina Town - 08/02 - 1202 hrs. A K-Serbian house was set on fire by unknown suspects(s). No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. * Vitina Town - 08/02 - 2015 hrs. An abandoned K-Serbian house was badly damaged in a fire. Investigation continuing. ASSAULT Kamenica Town - 08/02 - 2130 hrs. A K-Albanian male KPS officer was verbally abused and pushed by a K-Albanian male. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON Urosevac Town - 08/02 - 0900 hrs. A K-Albanian male with a pistol threatened another K-Albanian male. The suspect was arrested and the pistol was seized. GUNFIRE Odonovce Village, Kamenica - 08/02 - 0900 hrs. A KFOR patrol reported hearing automatic gunfire near the Serbian border. No further information reported. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS UXO FOUND Kacanik Town - 08/02 - 1310 hrs. A K-Albanian male located an unexploded rocket. EOD disposed of the device. MISSING PERSON * Urosevac Town - 08/02 - 1002 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported his daughter missing since 06/02. Investigation continuing. * Koprivnica Village, Kamenica - 06/02 - Unknown time. A K-Albanian female was reported missing by her father. Investigation continuing. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Gnjilane - 08/02 - 2245 hrs. A KPS vehicle and an UNMIK vehicle were involved in an accident. One KPS officer was slightly injured and both vehicles were heavily damaged. >>>>>> REGION PRIZREN >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS GRENADE ATTACK Mushnikovo Village, Prizren - 07/02 - 2245 hrs. The roof of a K-Serbian home was damaged in a grenade attack. No injuries were reported. EXPLOSION/GUNFIRE Velika Hoca, Orahovac - 08/02 - 0004 hrs. KFOR patrols heard grenade explosions and gunfire. Investigation continuing. GRIEVOUS ASSAULT * Radesa Village, Dragash - 07/02 - 2100 hrs. A K-Goran male was arrested after entering a coffee bar and stabbing two K-Albanian males. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time. Investigation continuing. * Xerxe Village, Orahovac - 08/02 - 12130 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were injured after they were involved in a collision between their vehicle and a tractor. The owner of the tractor (ethnicity unknown) attacked both victims with a handle used to start the machine and a knife. Both victims were admitted to Prizren Hospital for treatment of injuries. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON Prizren - 07/02 - 2230 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after UNMIK Police questioned him about a prior shooting incident. Upon a search of his residence, a rifle and ammunition were seized. Investigation continuing. COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY Orthakol Village, Prizren - 08/02 - 2245 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after UNMIK Police found him to be in possession of a counterfeit 500DM bank note that was located in his documents. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION PEC >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS Bistrazin Village, Dakovica - 08/02 - 0730 hrs. During a search of his residence, a K-Albanian male was found to be in possession of three pistols, one shotgun, three magazines, two bayonets and assorted ammunition. The suspect was arrested and the weapons seized. THEFT Dakovica Town - 07/02 - Nighttime hrs. A Danish male employee of the NGO "DEA" reported that unknown suspect(s) removed the rear window of a vehicle belonging to the company and stole clothing, fuel and the music system. Investigation continuing. CRIMINAL DAMAGE Klina Town - 08/02 - 0245 hrs. A K-Albanian male heard noise outside his residence and upon checking found someone trying to break into his vehicle. The suspect fled but was later located and arrested. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS UXO FOUND Klina Town - 07/02 - 1330 hrs. A hand grenade was found beside the road leading to Pec. EOD disposed of the grenade without incident. MISSING PERSON Klina Town - 08/02 - 1530 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that his K-Albanian friend has been missing since he left for Germany on 01/02. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION MITROVICA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION Mitrovica South - 08/02 - 1715 hrs. A K-Albanian female reported that two unknown persons had tried to force her into a vehicle but she managed to flee. Investigation continuing. DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED Leposavic Town - 08/02 - 1610 hrs.
