Gnjilane Region : Two K-Albanian males arrested for assaulting another K-Albanian male. Prizren Region : Apartment explosion occupied by K-Albanian and K-Goran. No injuries. Pec Region : Grenade attack on K-Bosnian residence. No injuries. Mitrovica Region: Five persons injured in traffic collision. PRISTINA Region =============== :: ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS :: Pristina - 09/02 - 2336 hrs. UNMIK Police conducted a search operation and and seized five bricks of TNT explosive, two detonators, one kilo of gunpowder, and 100 meters of detonator cable. No arrest was reported at this time. ASSAULT Pristina - 09/02 - 0655 hrs. A K-Albanian male assaulted a KPS Officer after the suspect was brought to the station for investigation of a Burglary case. No physical injuries were reported. ATTEMPTED BURGLARY / ARMED ASSAULT Pristina - 09/02 - 2230 hrs. Two K-Albanian security guards employed at "Farmed" located two unknown suspects attempting to burglarize the building. When the guards confronted the suspects, the suspects began to shoot with an unknown type weapon towards the guards and fled on foot. The guards, who were not injured, immediately contacted UNMIK Police who responded to the scene where a search for the suspects proved negative. Preliminary investigations indicate that no items were taken. UNATTENDED DEATH Pristina - 09/02 - 2045 hrs. An Italian male was found deceased in his accommodation. Illegal narcotics were located at the scene where preliminary investigation revealed a self-induced drug overdose. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. GNJILANE Region =============== :: ASSAULT :: Pozoranjc Village, Vitina - 07/02 - 1345 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested after beating another K-Albanian male. No physical injuries were reported. SUSPECTED ABDUCTION Urosevac - 09/02 - 2030 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported observing three unidentified males forcing another K-Albanian male into a vehicle. Another independent witness observed the same incident. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. The possible victim was not identified yet. PRIZREN Region ============== :: EXPLOSION :: Dragash - 09/02 - 2050 hrs. An explosion occurred in an apartment building occupied by K-Albanians and K-Gorans. The area was sealed off by UNMIK Police and searched by Turkish EOD No physical injuries were reported. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ARMED ROBBERY Prizren Town - 09/02 - 0305 hrs. Four masked and armed suspects entered a K-Albanian male's residence and robbed him. No physical injuries were reported. RAPE Malishevo Town - 08/02 - 1330 hrs. A K-Albanian female reported that she was assaulted and raped by her boyfriend approximately one month ago. The suspect was arrested. No additional injuries were reported. PEC Region ========== :: EXPLOSION :: Banja Village, Istok - 09/02 - 0030 hrs. Unknown suspect(s) threw an explosive device into the yard of a residence owned by a K-Bosnian male. No injuries were reported although a bus parked nearby received some minor damage. ASSAULT Dakovica Town - 08/2 - 2230 hrs. Four K-Roma males were arrested for assaulting another K-Roma male. No physical injuries were reported. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON * Sismon Village, Dakovica - 08/02 - 1800 hrs. A K-Albanian male was found in possession of one pistol and ammunition. The suspect was summoned to court and the items seized. * Gllogjan Village, Pec - 09/02 - 1300 hrs. During a residence search a K-Albanian male was found in possession of an assault rifle, a magazine and a bayonet. The suspect was summoned to court and the items seized. SUICIDE Nivokaz Village, Dakovica - 09/02 - 1830 hrs. A 22-year-old K-Albanian female reportedly hung herself. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. MITROVICA Region ================ :: TRAFFIC ACCIDENT :: Vucitrn Town - 08/02 - 1000 hrs. Two persons (ethnicity not known) were critically injured while three others suffered serious injuries in a road traffic accident. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. No further information given. BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- DEPORTATION 08/02. Two K-Albanian males were deported from Macedonia after one was found with a false passport and the other for violating Macedonian law. DENERAL JANKOVIC ---------------- FALSE DOCUMENTS 08/02 - 1015 hrs. A K-Albanian male was found with a false drivers license. The license was confiscated. CAFA PRUSHIT ------------ FALSE DOCUMENTS 08/02 - 0930 hrs. One Albanian male was found with a false drivers license as he attempted to enter Kosovo. The entry was refused and exit denied.
