Gnjilane Region : K-Albanian male shot three times in murder attempt. Prizren Region : K-Albanian male avoids armed assault by hitting suspects with vehicle. Pec Region : 2 K-Albanian female murdered, 1 male injured in shooting. Two arrested. Mitrovica Region: K-Bosnian males forced off the road and robbed by unknown suspects. PRISTINA Region =============== ::BURGLARY:: * Pristina - 14/02 - 2200 hrs. Unknown suspects burglarized the offices of the NGO "Balkan Action Frontier". The kind and amount of taken items were not reported. * Pristina - 15/02 - 1800 hrs. Unknown suspects burglarized the offices of the NGO "Kvinna Till Kvinna". Electronic items were reported missing. GNJILANE Region =============== ::ATTEMPTED MURDER:: Pasjak Village, Gnjilane - 15/02 - 2340 hrs. Unknown suspect(s) shot several times with an unknown type firearm at a K-Albanian male when he arrived at his residence. The victim received wounds to his abdomen and shoulder and was transported to hospital for medical treatment. The present condition of the victim is unknown. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. BURGLARY Urosevac Town - 15/02 - 1900 hrs. When a K-Albanian male returned home he found a burglar inside his residence. The homeowner apprehended the suspect, a K-Albanian male who was later arrested by UNMIK Police. THREATS/INTIMIDATION Sadovina Village, Vitina - 14/02 - 2200 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for threatening his father blow him up. A search of the suspect's residence resulted in the seizure of a detonator. No physical injuries were reported. PRIZREN Region ============== ::ARMED ASSAULT :: Suva Reka Town - 15/02 - 0050 hrs. While driving his car, a K-Albanian male was stopped by three masked suspects armed with an assault rifle. The victim managed to escape by striking the suspects with his vehicle. No physical injuries to the victim were reported. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ATTEMPTED BURGLARY Prizren - 14/02 - 2130 hrs. Four masked suspects attempted to burglarize a K-Albanian home. When they realized that the owner was home the suspects fled in a motor vehicle. UNMIK Police intercepted the vehicle and arrested the suspects (ethnicity not reported). ABANDONED INFANT Prizren - 14/02 - 1535 hrs. A 3-day-old infant (gender not reported) was found by local residents and turned over to UNMIK Police. The infant is listed to be in good condition. PEC Region ========== ::MURDER:: Strelle Village, Decani - 15/02 - 0015 hrs. Unknown person(s) shot at passenger car occupied by 3 K-Albanian males and 2 K-Albanian females. One of the females died at the spot, the other died later at Pristina hospital where she was transported for medical treatment. One of the males sustained injuries of unknown degree and was hospitalized in Peja hospital. Investigations led to the arrest of two K-Albanian male suspects and the recovery of two assault rifles and ammunition. ARMED ROBBERY Pec - 14/02 - 1915 hrs. Three masked and armed unknown suspects robbed a K-Albanian male of cash when he was closing his shop. No physical injuries were reported. THREATS/INTIMIDATION * Skivjan Village, Dakovica - 15/02 - 1610 hrs. After being stopped for a traffic violation, a known K-Albanian male member of the "TMK" threatened two female KPS officers. No physical injuries were reported. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. No arrest was reported yet. * Klina Town - 14/02 - 2306 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for threatening an on-duty KPS officer. No physical injuries were reported. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON * Brekovac Village, Dakovica - 14/02 - 0830 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after a search of his residence resulted in the seizure of two assault rifles, one pistol, two knives, body armor and ammunition. * Rausic Village, Pec - 14/02 - 1600 hrs. A K-Bosnian male was arrested after a search of his residence resulted in the seizure of ammunition. SMUGGLING * Vitomirica Village, Pec - 14/02 - 0850 hrs. A K-Bosnian male truck driver hauling construction material was arrested after avoiding customs. * Zahac Pec - 14/02 - 1100 hrs. A K-Bosnian male truck driver hauling construction material was arrested after avoiding customs. * Zahac Village, Pec - 14/02 - 1100 hrs. A K-Bosnian male truck driver hauling roofing tiles was arrested after avoiding customs. * Vitomirica Village, Pec - 15/02 - 0025 hrs. A K-Bosnian male truck driver was arrested after avoiding customs. MITROVICA Region ================ ::ARMED ROBBERY:: Smekronica Village, Vucitrn - 15/02 - 1900 hrs. Five unknown armed K-Albanian males forced a motor vehicle driven by two K-Bosnian males off the road by firing several shots at it. The suspects robbed the two K-Bosnian males of cash at gunpoint. Both victims sustained minor injuries. The extent of the injuries was not reported. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON Vucitrn Town - 15/02. A K-Albanian male was arrested after being found in possession of an illegal owned handgun. BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- FALSE DOCUMENTS 14/02. Four K-Albanians attempted to pass through the airport with false documents. DENERAL JANKOVIC ---------------- FALSE DOCUMENTS 14/02. Eight K-Albanians attempted to cross the border with false documents. GLOBOCICA --------- ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING 14/02. One K-Albanian was detained for attempting to cross the border illegally.
