Pec Region : K-Albanian arrested for possession of illegal weapons. Mitrovica Region: UNMIK Police officer shot by suspect during house search. Minor injuries. PRISTINA Region =============== ::EXPLOSION / MURDER:: Podujevo Town - 16/02 - 1130 hrs. Two K-Albanian male suspects are in custody for the bombing of a bus carrying 59 Serbians from the Serbian border. Seven are reported dead and forty injured. The bus was in a KFOR escorted convoy. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. RIOT Caglavica Village - 16/02 - 1434 hrs. Approximately 1000 K-Serbians gathered on a roadway after learning of the bus attack. The group then began to throw rocks and burned two vehicles in protest of the incident. A K-Albanian restaurant was also burned and eight K-Albanians were reported with minor injuries. CRIMINAL DAMAGE * Laplasela Village, Pristina -16/02 - 1345 hrs. A K-Albanian bus carrying 17 passengers was stopped on a road by a group of K-Serbians who were protesting a bombing incident. The passengers were allowed to exit the bus, which was then burned by the group. No physical injuries were reported. * Laplasela Village, Pristina - 16/02 - 1345 hrs. A K-Albanian driving on a road was stopped by a group of K-Serbians, protesting the bombing incident, which threw rocks at his vehicle causing damage to it. The victim managed to avoid injury and fled the area in his vehicle. GNJILANE Region =============== ::MURDER:: Kamenica Town - 16/02 - 0830 hrs. The body of a K-Albanian male was discovered in the hills west of town. The incident was determined to be a murder. A K-Serbian male suspect was arrested. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. GRIEVOUS ASSAULT Topili Village, Urosevac - 16/02 - 2200 hrs. A male victim (ethnicity not reported) was shot one time in the leg as he exited a vehicle in front of his residence. The victim did require hospital treatment but the injury was not life threatening. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION Bolyevce Village, Kamenica - 13/02 - 1630 hrs. Three unidentified males attempted to abduct a young K-Serbian female. The victim managed to flee. No physical injuries were reported. CRIMINAL DAMAGE Vitina Town - 16/02 - 1415 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that while he was driving through Gushteric Village, unidentified Serbians stoned his vehicle, damaging the rear window. No physical injuries were reported. DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED * Urosevac Town - 16/02 - 0130 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for driving while intoxicated. * Urosevac Town - 16/02 - 0330 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for driving while intoxicated. PRIZREN Region ============== ::ARSON:: Orahovac Town - 16/02 - 1830 hrs. Unknown person(s) set a K-Serbian home ablaze. The home was totally destroyed. No physical injuries were reported. FORGED DOCUMENTS Prizren - 15/02 - 2355 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found in possession of a forged drivers license. PEC Region ========== ::ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON:: Doblibar Village, Dakovica - 15/02 - 0930 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after a search of his residence resulted in the seizure of one assault rifle, two pistols, magazines and ammunition. MITROVICA Region ================ ::ATTEMPTED MURDER:: Maxhumi Village, Mitrovica South - 16/02 - 0500 hrs. A K-Albanian male shot an UNMIK Police Officer during a search of the suspect's residence. The officer received a minor injury to the hand. The suspect was taken into custody. ARMED ROBBERY Grace Village, Vucitrn - 16/02. Four unknown armed male suspects robbed a K-Albanian male of his vehicle at gunpoint. No physical injuries were reported.
