Pec Region : Two K-Albanian males assaulted a third, causing serious injuries. Mitrovica Region: Two demonstrations by K-Serbians are conducted without incident. PRISTINA Region =============== ::ASSAULT:: Kosovo Polje Town - 21/02 - 1555 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he assaulted an Albanian male and a pregnant Albanian female. Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect believed the victims were of Serbian descent. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. SHOOTING/GUNFIRE Murgula Village, Podujevo - 21/02 - 0045 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after firing a rifle into the air. The weapon was confiscated. No injuries or damages were reported. GNJILANE Region =============== ::GRIEVOUS ASSAULT:: Pozhoranjc Village, Vitina - 21/02 - 1215 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he had accidentally shot another K-Albanian male. The victim was transported to the hospital. The extent of his injuries was not reported. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. No further details given. ASSAULT Gnjilane - 21/02 - 0830 hrs. Three K-Albanian males were arrested for attacking a K-Albanian male with knives. No physical injuries were reported. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON * Urosevac Town - 21/02 - 0230 hrs. A K-Albanian male arrested after he was found in possession of a pistol and ammo. * Ogoste Village, Kamenica - 21/02 - 0630 hrs. Three male suspects (ethnicity not reported) were arrested after a search of their residence resulted in the seizure of a barrel adapter for a grenade launcher and one knife. They are also being investigated for an earlier stabbing case. DEMONSTRATION Pasjane Village, Gnjilane - 21/02 - 1200 hrs. For approximately one hour 500 K-Serbians peacefully blocked the road between Pasjane and Gnjilane. The purpose of the demonstration was to protest the recent bombing deaths of Serbians. The demonstration was conducted without incident. This is the third straight day of such protests. PRIZREN Region ============== ::ARMED ROBBERY:: Prizren - 20/02 - (Time not reported). A K-Albanian female worker of the "PTK" reported that one unknown armed male entered the offices and robbed her of cash. No physical injuries were reported. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. GRIEVOUS ASSAULT Prizren - 21/02 - 1700 hrs. During a dispute a 17-years-old K-Albanian student stabbed a fellow 18-years-old K-Albanian student resulting in serious wounds to the victim's back. The victim was hospitalized. The suspect is still at large. ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING Mali Krstac Village, Dragash - 21/02 - 1000 hrs. An Albanian male was arrested after it was discovered that he had illegally crossed the border into Kosovo. The suspect was handed over to Albanian border authorities. PEC Region ========== ::ASSAULT:: * Dakovica Town - 20/02 - 1230 hrs. Two identified K-Albanian males attacked another K-Albanian male. The victim sustained a broken arm, broken finger and was admitted to hospital. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. No arrests were reported. THREATS/INTIMIDATION Pec - 19/02 - 2015 hrs. A K-Albanian male, armed with a knife, was arrested for threatening a K-Albanian male and his family. No physical injuries were reported. BURGLARY Dakovica Town - 21/02 - 1210 hrs. Unknown persons broke into a K-Albanian shop and took 40 pairs of jeans. The items were later found abandoned. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. MITROVICA Region ================ ::DEMONSTRATION:: * Mitrovica North - 21/02 - 1200 hrs. Approximately 600-700 K-Serbians gathered in the town center blocking traffic during a peaceful demonstration, which lasted approximately twenty-five minutes. No incidents were reported. * Zubin Potok - 20/02 - 1245 hrs. Approximately 80 K-Serbians gathered in a roadway burning tires during a peaceful demonstration. The demonstration dispersed without incident. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON Vrnica Village, Vucitrn - 21/02 - 1115 hrs. A K-Albanian male after a search of his residence resulted in the seizure of two pistols. BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- FALSE PASSPORTS 20/02. Two K-Albanians were found to be in possession of false passports, which were seized. DENERAL JANKOVIC ---------------- FALSE PASSPORT 20/02.
