No injuries reported. >>>>>> REGION PRISTINA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ARMED ROBBERY Pristina - 26/02 - 1045 hrs. Three unknown suspects, one armed with a pistol, entered a local travel agency and robbed it of cash at gunpoint. The victim was bound with tape and locked up in the toilet. No physical injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION Glogovac Town - 26/02 - 0630 hrs. A K-Albanian female reported that an unknown male forced her into his vehicle and then drove off while pointing a gun to her head. The victim managed to escape. No physical injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. ATTEMPTED MURDER Pristina - 25/02 - 1530 hrs. A K-Albanian female admitted to the hospital after giving birth to a baby attempted to strangle the infant. Doctors found strangulation marks on the baby's throat. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS ARREST OF ESCAPEE Podujevo Town - 26/02 - 2000 hrs. A K-Albanian male wanted for armed robbery and escape from lawful custody was located and arrested. >>>>>> REGION GNJILANE >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS No regional report received due to communications outage. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS DEAD BODY FOUND (Reported as: FLASH REPORT) Nerodime Village, Urosevac (GR: EM 127 901) - 26/02 - 1530 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported finding the body of a newborn floating in the river. The body was recovered, the investigation is continuing. >>>>>> REGION PRIZREN >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS RAPE Prizren - 25/02 - 2330 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for raping a K-Albanian female at a local hotel. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE/ACCIDENT Prizren - 25/02 - 1200 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and causing a traffic accident. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Korisa Village, Prizren - 26/02 - 1330 hrs. A civilian vehicle collided with a KFOR vehicle. There were no injuries reported. >>>>>> REGION PEC >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ARMED ROBBERY Dakovica Town - 26/02 - 0300 hrs. Four armed, masked men fired shots at the door of a K-Albanian's house then assaulted and robbed him. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. POLICE DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM DAKOVICA - 24/02 - 1355 hrs. An UNMIK police officer fired a warning shot when aggressive/threatening behavior occurred among a group of people being searched for weapons. No injuries occurred and the situation was stabilized. The incident is under investigation. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS DAKOVICA - 24/02 - 0620 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after a search of his house discovered 1 rifle, 12 shotguns, 1 pistol, and 8000 rounds of ammunitions. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS PEC - 24/02 - 1600 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after a search discovered 1 AK-47 rifle and 135 rounds of ammunition. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS PEC - 24/02 - 1610 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after a search discovered 1 pistol and 29 rounds of ammunition. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS FOUND WEAPONS Krusheva Village, Klina - 26/02 - 0730 hrs. A K-Albanian female reported finding an AK-47 and a pistol in the ceiling of her residence. The weapons were seized. DEAD BODY ZATRA - 25/02 - 1700 hrs. The dead body of an infant was discovered in a well. The incident is under investigation. >>>>>> REGION MITROVICA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY Mitrovica South - 22/02 - 0230 hrs. Three armed and masked males entered a K-Albanian residence, pushed the victim, fired a shot and fled. No injuries reported. Investigation continuing. ARSON Mitrovica North - 26/02 - 0525 hrs. A K-Serbian male observed an unknown suspect set fire to his van. The van was completely destroyed and no injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. ASSAULT Srbica Town - 26/02 - 1625 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that another male he believes to have been K-Serbian assaulted him. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS DEMONSTRATION <> Mitrovica South - 26/02 - 0910 hrs. A group of 50 K-Serbians gathered in a peaceful protest at the engineers compound. The event lasted about 30 minutes and no incidents were reported. <> Mitrovica - 26/02 - 1300 hrs. A group of approximately six hundred K-Albanians gathered in a demonstration near the Regional HQ. The event lasted approximately one and one half hours and no incidents were reported. >>>>>> BORDER POLICE <> PRISTINA AIRPORT FALSE PASSPORTS 25/02. Fifteen K-Albanians were found to be in possession of false passports, which were seized. <> GENERAL JANKOVIC FALSE PASSPORTS 25/02.
