Gnjilane Region : UNMIK Police recover weapon at gas station. Two suspects arrested. Prizren Region : No significant criminal incidents were reported. Pec Region : K-Albanian male shot and injured. Two suspects arrested. Mitrovica Region: K-Albanian male arrested for possession of weapons. PRISTINA Region =============== :: ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPON :: Sedllare Village, Lipljan - 01/01 - 0001 hrs. An UNMIK Police search of a K-Albanian residence resulted in the recovery of ammunition for an assault rifle. The suspect was arrested. GNJILANE Region =============== :: ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON :: Drobesh Village, Vitina - 02/01 - 1150 hrs. UNMIK Police searched a gas station and recovered a machine pistol, ammunition. Two K-Albanian males were arrested. POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS Gnjilane - 02/01 - 2240 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after he was found in possession of a small amount of a substance believed to be heroin. PRIZREN Region ============== No significant criminal incidents were reported. PEC Region ========== :: ATTEMPTED MURDER :: Decani Town - 02/01 - 0230 hrs. Two known K-Albanian males shot a K-Albanian male. The victim was brought to Pec Hospital for treatment of chest injuries and later transported to Pristina Hospital due to his serious injuries. UNMIK Police arrested the two suspects and seized a machine gun and a pistol. The exact extents of injuries are unknown yet but the victim is in stable condition. ATTEMPTED MURDER Decani Town - 02/01 - 1330 hrs. Two groups of unidentified K-Albanian males approached the home of a K-Albanian male. The first group forcibly entered the victim's home and began shooting an unknown type of weapon at him. As the victim ran to the upper level of the home to escape he exited onto his balcony where a second group of K-Albanian males were waiting outside. The second group then began to fire weapons at the victim who managed to jump from his balcony and flee without injury. The circumstances of the incident especially the motive are under investigation. ASSAULT/ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON Volljak Village, Klina - 01/01 - 1930 hrs. UNMIK Police responded to the home of a K-Albanian male who had threatened his family. The suspect was found in possession of a pistol, a shotgun and ammunition. The suspect was arrested and the items were seized. MITROVICA Region ================ :: ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON :: Vucitrn Town - 01/01 - 0100 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after he was found in possession of a shotgun. The weapon was seized. BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- FALSE DOCUMENTS * 31/12 & 01/01. Two K-Albanian males and one female were detained when they attempted to enter Kosovo on false passports. The documents were seized and the subjects were released. * 01/01. One K-Albanian male was detained after he attempted to exit Kosovo while in possession of a false Yugoslavian driving license. The document was seized and exit was denied. DENERAL JANKOVIC ---------------- FALSE DOCUMENT 01/01. Two K-Albanian males were detained when they attempted to enter Kosovo while in possession of Yugoslavian passports that contained false German residence permit and false vehicle registration. The vehicle was seized. STOLEN PASSPORT 01/01. A K-Albanian male was detained when he attempted to enter Kosovo and presented a stolen Yugoslavian passport. The document was seized. GLOBOCICA --------- ALTERED PASSPORT 31/12. A K-Albanian male and female were detained when they attempted to enter Kosovo and presented passports in which the expiry date had been changed. The documents were seized. CAFA PRUSHIT ------------ NO PASSPORT 01/01 - 0500 hrs. Two males were detained when they attempted to exit Kosovo and presented driving licenses without passports.
