No injuries. >>>>>> REGION PRISTINA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS STOLEN VEHICLE Pristina - 08/01 - 0600 hrs. A white Mitsubishi Pajero that belongs to "OSCE" was stolen by unknown suspects from a parking lot in the Sunny Hill area. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS Lipljan Town - Date and time not Reported. A K-Albanian male was found to be in possession of pistol by KFOR and UNMIK Police. The weapon was confiscated. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Pristina - 08/01 - 0600 hrs. An UNMIK Police vehicle was involved in a traffic accident that resulted in the injury of a KPS officer. The other four occupants were not injured. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION GNJILANE >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ASSAULT Gnjilane - 08/01 - 1700 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after his wife reported he had assaulted her and that he was wanted for other crimes. ILLEGAL POSSESSION WEAPONS Gnjilane - 08/01 - 0900 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for illegal possession of a weapon after UNMIK Police and KFOR searched his house. >>>>>> REGION PRIZREN >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS REPORTED SUICIDE Prizren - 08/01 - 2150 hrs. A KPS officer reportED that his girlfriend had committed suicide by shooting herself. The exact nature of the incident has not yet been determined. Investigation continuing. ASSAULT Siroko Village, Suva Reka - 06/01 - 1315 hrs. A K-Albanian male assaulted a KPS officer after he had received a traffic ticket. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. THEFT Prizren - 08/01 - 0300 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested after they were found to be in possession of stolen property. >>>>>> REGION PEC >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ARMED ASSAULT Pec - 08/01 - 0915 hrs. During the arrest of a K-Albanian male for armed assault, the suspect resisted and one round was fired by the officer causing minor injuries to both persons. No other information reported. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON * Babaloc Village, Dakovica - 07/01 - 2330 hrs. During a vehicle search performed by KFOR, A K-Albanian male was found to be in possession of several rounds of ammunition. Subsequently, the suspect's residence was searched and he was found to be in possession of one AK-47 rifle and ammunition. The suspect was arrested and the weapon seized. * Miljvic Village, Klina - 07/01 - 2130 hrs. During a vehicle search performed by KFOR, a K-Albanian male was found to be in possession of a pistol and ammunition. The suspect was arrested and the weapon seized. * Boksic Village, Klina - 07/01 2130 hrs. During a search of his residence, a K-Albanian male was found to be in possession of one pistol and ammunition. The suspect was charged and the weapon seized. * Boksic Village, Klina - 07/01 - 2130 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found in possession of one AK-47 rifle, pistol magazine and ammunition. The weapon was seized. * Boksic Village, Klina - 07/01 - 2130 hrs. During a search of his residence by KFOR, a K-Albanian male was found to be in possession of one AK-47 rifle, two magazines and two gas masks. The suspect was arrested and the items seized. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS MISSING PERSON Dakovica Town - 05/01 - 1530 hrs. A K-Roma male reported that his ten-year-old son was missing. No foul play is suspected. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION MITROVICA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS GRENADE ATTACK Srbica Town - 08/01 - 1236 hrs. Unknown suspects driving a red mini bus, marked "Taxi" dropped a hand grenade at the KFOR checkpoint. Although the pin had been pulled from the grenade it did not explode. EOD responded to disarm the device. Investigation continuing. THREATS/INTIMIDATION Mitrovica North - 07/01 - 2115 hrs. Two K-Albanian males threatened to shoot KFOR soldiers for not allowing them to cross the bridge. The suspects were taken to the station for questioning. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS SUICIDE * Stanovce Village, Vucitrn - A K-Albanian male reported that another K-Albanian male had committed suicide by hanging himself. Investigation continuing. * Vucitrn Town - 08/01 - 1400 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that his daughter in law had committed suicide by hanging herself. Eight K-Albanians attempted to enter/exit Kosovo on false passports, which were seized. <> GENERAL JANKOVIC FALSE PASSPORTS 07/01. Five K- Albanians attempted to cross the border by presenting false passports, which were seized <> GLOBOCICA FALSE DOCUMENT 07/01. A K-Albanian attempted to cross the border with a false registration document, which was seized <> VRBNICA FALSE PASSPORTS 07/01.
