Gnjilane Region <> An explosion damaged ten buildings and injured three K-Albanians. Prizren Region <> K-Albanian male assaulted a K-Turkish female with pepper spray. <> Pec Region <> Two armed robberies reported. No serious injuries. Mitrovica Region <> Bosnian male robbed by five unknown suspects. No injuries. >>>>>> REGION PRISTINA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS No significant criminal incidents reported. OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS FIRE Dardania Village, Pristina - 10/01 - 1330 hrs. An electrical fire broke out in a single apartment. KPS Officers responded to the scene and stopped the fire. There were no injuries were reported. UXO FOUND * Kacikoli Village, Pristina - 10/01 - 0930 hrs. A local woodcutter located a land mine and informed UNMIK Police. EOD responded to the scene where the device was disposed of. No injuries were reported. * Kacikoli Village, Pristina - 10/01 - 0820 hrs. UNMIK Police observed a container hanging from a tree limb that was later identified as an unexploded cluster bomblet. EOD responded to the scene where the device was disposed of. No injuries were reported. >>>>>> REGION GNJILANE >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ARSON Kamenica Town - 10/01 - 2030 hrs. An uninhabited house burned for unknown reason. There were no injuries. No further information was available. Investigation continuing. EXPLOSION Urosevac Town - 10/01- 0143 hrs. There was a large explosion along the roadway. Investigation revealed that the explosion damaged a 130-meter area and caused damage to 10 buildings including shops and a supermarket. Three K-Albanian males sustained minor injuries. Motive and suspects are unknown. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS CIVIL DISPUTE Strpce Town - 10/01 - 2100 hrs. A Serbian male reported to the station that he had been evicted from the local Refugee Center after making too much money by working for KFOR. The Red Cross runs the refugee center. >>>>>> REGION PRIZREN >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ASSAULT Prizren - 09/01 - 2030 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after assaulting a K-Turkish female with pepper spray. No injuries were reported. DISORDERLY CONDUCT Prizren - 10/01 - 0215 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he broke windows in his home while he was intoxicated. ASSAULT Prizren - 10/01 - 1615 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he became verbally abusive towards a police officer. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS UXO FOUND Pecani Village, Prizren - 09/01 - 1530 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported finding a hand grenade. EOD responded and disposed of the device. No injuries were reported. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Dragash Town, Prizren - 10/01 - 1610 hrs. An UNMIK Police vehicle was involved in a minor traffic accident. No injuries were reported. >>>>>> REGION PEC >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ARMED ROBBERY * Dakovica Town - 10/01 - 0100 hrs. A K-Roma male reported that while he was working as a guard at a local company, he was approached by two unknown masked men armed with weapons who demanded the key of a parked truck. The suspects then stole 80 liters of fuel from the truck. The suspect fled the scene and investigation continuing. * Decani Town - 10/01 - 0300 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that 5 unknown masked suspects armed with weapons entered his house, tied all the family members with a rope, and robbed them of their belongings. The father was also assaulted although no serious injuries occurred to him. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Pec Town - 10/01 - 1845 hrs. An UNMIK Police vehicle veered to avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle and struck two pedestrians, one of whom received minor injuries. Two Police officers were also injured and transported to the KFOR hospital for treatment. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION MITROVICA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ARMED ROBBERY Stanovce Village, Vucitrn - 10/01 - 1600 hrs. A Bosnian male reported that while he was driving his vehicle another vehicle blocked the roadway. Five unknown armed suspects ordered the victim out of his vehicle. The suspects then placed the victim in their vehicle and drove him to an unknown location where he was robbed of a large amount of currency. The victim was then released unharmed. Investigation continuing. DISORDERLY CONDUCT Vucitrn Town - 05/01 - 1420 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested for disorderly conduct at the bus station. No other information available. >>>>>> BORDER POLICE <> PRISTINA AIRPORT FALSE PASSPORTS 09/01 - Eight K-Albanians attempted to exit Kosovo by using false passports, which were seized. <> GENERAL JANKOVIC FALSE PASSPORTS 08/01. Nine K-Albanians attempted to the border by using false passports, which were seized. <> CAFA PRUSHIT ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING 09/01. Two Albanian males attempted to exit Kosovo illegally through the minefields. The subjects were returned to Kosovo. FALSE PASSPORT 09/01.
