Pec Region : K-Albanian female robbed at gunpoint by unknown suspect. Mitrovica Region: Unknown suspects attempted to shoot two K-Albanian males. PRISTINA Region =============== :: ROBBERY :: Pristina - 15/01 - 1800 hrs. An international female reported that she was robbed by an unidentified suspect who snatched her handbag containing cash, a mobile phone and personal items. GRIEVOUS ASSAULT Pristina - 15/01 - 1555 hrs. Two unknown male suspects stabbed a 18-years-old K-Albanian male student in the back. The victim was transported to Pristina hospital; his condition was reported to be stable. GNJILANE Region =============== :: ARSON :: Vitina Town - 15/01 - 1925 hrs. Unidentified suspect(s) set fire to an unoccupied K-Serbian home. No injuries reported. POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL DRUGS Gnjilane - 15/01 - 1500 hrs. KFOR and UNMIK Police arrested two K-Albanian males after they were found in possession of a substance believed to be heroin. GRIEVOUS ASSAULT Kamenica Town - 15/01 - 1930 hrs. A 12-years-old K-Albanian male child stabbed a K-Albanian male who assaulted his father. The offender sustained minor injuries. The attacked adult sustained no injuries. PRIZREN Region ============== :: EXPLOSIONS :: Istok Town - 16/01 - 0230 hrs. Four explosions rocked the town of Istok. Two explosions destroyed two unoccupied houses near the bus station. Two other explosions occurred near the market place and damaged approximately twenty-five businesses. No injuries were reported. ILLEGAL SALES Prizren Town - 15/01 - 1630 hrs. Three K-Albanian males were arrested by UNMIK Police for selling SIMM chips and telephone cards at higher than authorized prices. PEC Region ========== :: ARMED ROBBERY :: Pec - 15/01 - 1810 hrs. An unknown suspect robbed a K-Albanian female at gunpoint. No injuries were reported. THREATS/INTIMIDATION Dakovica Town - 14/01 - 2310 hrs. UNMIK Police arrested two K-Albanian brothers after one has threatened the other to burn down his house during an argument. MITROVICA Region ================ :: ATTEMPTED MURDER :: Srbica Town - 15/01 - 1045 hrs. Four known K-Albanian male suspects assaulted two K-Albanian males. The victims had already a physical fight with the offenders in December 2000. When one of the victims tried to defend himself with a knife, one of the suspects shot several times with a pistol at the victims without hitting or injuring them. The suspects fled altogether in a car. No arrests were reported yet. BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- The airport was closed due to adverse weather conditions. GENERAL JANKOVIC ---------------- FALSE PASSPORT 14/01. Seven K-Albanians attempted to cross the border by presenting false passports, which were seized. THREATS/INTIMIDATION 14/01 - 1320 hrs. A K-Albanian male threatened two customs officers. A statement was taken and the suspect was released. VRBNICA ------- FALSE DOCUMENT 14/01.
