Pec Region : Grenade attacks on two K-Albanian homes. No injuries reported. Mitrovica Region: Theft of poultry from K-Albanian henhouse. PRISTINA Region =============== No significant criminal incidents reported. GNJILANE Region =============== :: ABDUCTION :: Urosevac Town - 17/01 - 0030 hrs. An armed K-Albanian male abducted another K-Albanian male from his place of business by forcing him into his car. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ASSAULT Urosevac Town - 17/01 - 1930 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after he assaulted another K-Albanian male during a monetary dispute. No injuries were reported. POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL NARCOTICS Gnjilane - 16/01 - 1600 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police for after being found in possessing of a substance believed to be heroin. GRENADE ATTACK Binac Village, Vitina - 17/01 - 1530 hrs. Unknown suspect(s) threw a hand grenade at a K-Albanian residence. The explosion caused only property damage to a gate. No injuries were reported. PRIZREN Region ============== :: ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION :: Prizren - 17/01 - 1425 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after he attempted to abducted a K-Albanian female. The suspect tried to force the victim into his car but the victim managed to flee and to seek help at the nearby bus station. No injuries were reported. SHOOTING Zapluzje Village, Dragash - 17/01 - 2130 hrs. A KPS Officer arrested a K-Albanian male after he was seen discharging a weapon. The weapon was seized. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS Prizren - 17/01 - 1805 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested by UNMIK Police after a search of their houses revealed two rifles, two pistols, two air guns, magazines and ammunition. ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING Prizren - 17/01 - 0450 hrs. Two Bulgarian females were arrested by UNMIK Police after investigations revealed that they had illegally crossed the border into Kosovo. PEC Region ========== :: GRENADE ATTACKS :: * Dakovica Town - 17/01 - 0200 hrs. Unknown suspect(s) threw a hand grenade at a K-Albanian male's residence. The explosion caused only property damage to a gate. No injuries were reported. * Dakovica Town - 17/01 - 0200 hrs. Unknown suspect(s) threw a hand grenade at a K-Albanian female's residence. The explosion caused only property damage to a garage door. No injuries were reported. MITROVICA Region ================ :: THEFTS:: * Vucitrn Town - 17/01 - 0001 hrs. Unknown suspect(s) stole forty chickens and nine turkeys from a K-Albanian male's henhouse. * Mitrovica South - 17/01 - 1815 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported the theft of his radio to a KPS officer who succeeded in recovering the radio and arresting a K-Albanian male suspect. EVICTION Mitrovica North - 17/01 - 2330 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that unknown K-Serbs had illegally occupied his apartment. The suspects were later evicted by UNMIK Police officers from Mitrovica North station and KFOR soldiers. No arrests were reported. BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- FALSE PASSPORT 16/01. Four K-Albanians attempted to pass through the airport by presenting false passports, which were seized. GENERAL JANKOVIC ---------------- FALSE PASSPORT 16/01. Seven K-Albanians attempted to cross the border by presenting false passports, which were seized. GLOBOCICA --------- FALSE PASSPORT 16/01.
