Gnjilane Region : K-Albanian male arrested for assaulting another K-Albanian male. Prizren Region : K-Albanian and K-Turkish male arrested for possession of drugs. Pec Region : K-Albanian residence fired at by unknown persons. No injuries. Mitrovica Region: K-Albanian male arrested for assaulting his wife and children. No injuries. PRISTINA Region =============== :: RAPE :: Pristina - 21/01 - 1850 hrs. Two known K-Albanian males raped a K-Albanian female. The victim sustained injuries to her left hand and right leg and was taken to hospital for treatment. UNMIK Police arrested both suspects. BURGLARY * Pristina - 21/01 - 1945 hrs. A Finnish National reported that unknown person(s) broke into a vehicle belonging to the Department of Justice and stole numerous personal items. * Pristina - 21/01 - 0001 hrs. Unknown person(s) broke into a shop and stole eight computers. ABONDONED INFANT Stanovc Village, Pristina - 21/01 - 2010 hrs. Two K-Albanian males reported that they had found an abandoned newly born baby at the bus stop. The infant was taken to hospital were his condition was reported as serious due to exposure but that he was expected to recover. I GNJILANE Region =============== :: ASSAULT :: Kamenica Town - 21/01- 0845hrs. A K-Albanian male assaulted another K-Albanian male. UNMIK Police arrested the suspect. No injuries were reported. VEHICLE THEFT Kamenica Town - 21/01 - 0545hrs. A K-Serbian male reported that unidentified suspects stole his tractor. PRIZREN Region ============== :: POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS :: Prizren - 21/01 - 1940 hrs. A K-Turkish and K-Albanian male were arrested by UNMIK Police after a search of their motor vehicle resulted in the seizure of a substance believed to be hashish. ILLEGAL ENTRY INTO KOSOVO Prizren - 20/01 - 2030 hrs. An Albanian male suspected of being a criminal was apprehended by taxi drivers while his accomplice managed to escape. UNMIK Police arrested the suspect who was not in possession of a passport. PEC Region ========== :: CRIMINAL DAMAGE :: Dakovica Town, Pec - 20/01 - 0300 hrs. Unknown person(s) fired several shots at a K-Albanian male's house causing only minor damage to the walls. No injuries were reported. THEFT Pec - 20/01 - 1200 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after attempting to pickpocket another K-Albanian male at a market. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON * Pec - 20/01 - 2145 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after being found in possession of a pistol. * Glodane Village, Decani - 20/01 - 1430 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested by UNMIK Police after being found in possession of a pistol and ammunition. MITROVICA Region ================ :: ASSAULT :: Mitrovica South - 20/01 - 1930 hrs. UNMIK Police arrested a K-Albanian male after his wife reported that he had assaulted her and her children. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. No injuries were reported. BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- FALSE PASSPORTS 20/01. Eleven K-Albanians attempted to pass through the airport with false passports, which were seized. GLOBOCICA --------- FALSE PASSPORTS 20/01. One K-Albanian and one Macedonian attempted to cross the border with false passports, which were seized. CAFA PRUSHIT ------------ ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING 20/01. Two Albanians were caught crossing the border illegally. They were processed and returned to Albania. INCIDENT OVERVIEW 21.
