Pec Region <> Dead body located in wooded area; believed to be homicide victim. Mitrovica Region <> Two Montenegrins robbed by a group of K-Albanian males. No injuries. >>>>>> REGION PRISTINA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ATTEMPTED MURDER Lipljan Town - 02/03 - 1730 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for shooting another K-Albanian male. The victim sustained serious injuries and was admitted to hospital. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS MISSING PERSON Lluzan Village, Pristina - 01/03 - 1730 hrs. A vehicle belonging to a K-Albanian male who was reported missing by his son was found completely burnt on 02/03. The victim was last seen in the company of an unknown female customer who had requested assistance to transport items that she had bought at his electrical shop. Investigation continuing. DEAD BODY FOUND Pristina - 02/03 - 1000 hrs. A K-Albanian female reported that she found the body of her father in his apartment. The body was taken to the hospital for a post mortem examination to establish the cause of death. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION GNJILANE >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ASSAULT Verbovac Village, Vitina - 02/03 - 1715 hrs. Two K-Serbian males were arrested for assaulting a K-Serbian female. THREATS/INTIMIDATION <> Zhegra Village, Gnjilane - 01/03 - 2330 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for threatening his family with an axe. <> Gnjilane Town - 02/03 - 0330 - hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after breaking two windows in a K-Albanian café and threatening police officers. CRIMINAL DAMAGE/DEMONSTRATION Sevce Village, Strpce - 02/03 - 2220 hrs. A group of approximately thirty K-Serbians surrounded an UNMIK police vehicle in protest of a K-Serbian male being issued a traffic citation. During the incident two tires on the UNMIK vehicle were punctured. No injuries were reported and the crowd finally dispersed. Investigation continuing. DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED Urosevac Town - 01/03 - No time reported. A K-Albanian male was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS MISSING PERSON Gumnishta Village, Gnjilane - 02/03 - 1600 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that his son has been missing for the past six days. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION PRIZREN >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ASSAULT Prizren - 02/03 - 1330 hrs. A K-Albanian female reported that she was slapped by a K-Albanian male who had also threatened to kidnap her. The suspect was located and arrested. A knife was found in his person during a search subsequent to his arrest. TRAFFICKING IN HUMANS/ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING Prizren - 02/03 - 2340 hrs. A K-Albanian male suspected of involvement in prostitution was arrested following investigation into his illegal purchase of a Moldavian female and her use as a prostitute at his bar. An Albanian female working at the same bar was also arrested after it was proved that she was in the country illegally and was without travel documents. DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL Prizren - 02/02 - 0015 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was caught driving a vehicle while intoxicated with alcohol. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Vlashnje Village, Prizren - 02//03 - 0645 hrs. Two persons (ethnicity not reported) sustained serious injuries after the vehicles they were traveling in were involved in a head-on collision. The victims were admitted to hospital. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION PEC >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS MURDER Deic Village, Klina - 02/03 - 1210 hrs. The body of an individual believed to be a K-Albanian male reported missing in February was located in a forest. Due to injuries on the body, the death is believed to be a homicide. Documentation was found on the body but a positive identification has not been completed at the time of report. Investigation continuing. GRIEVOUS ASSAULT Klina Town - 01/03 - 1930 hrs. Following a disturbance between two K-Albanian families, one K-Albanian male was stabbed in the chest and two others beaten. The stabbing victim was transported to the hospital. The injuries were reported as non-life threatening. Investigation continuing. ROBBERY Dakovica Town - 01/03 - 1950 hrs. A female employee of UNMIK reported that an unknown suspect had tried to grab her purse but when she resisted he grabbed her wallet and fled. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. SMUGGLING Pec Town - 01/03 - 1800 hrs. Four Montenegrin male truck drivers were arrested when the trucks they were driving were found to have not cleared customs. >>>>>> REGION MITROVICA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ARMED ROBBERY Vucitrn Town - 01/03 - 1815 hrs. Two persons (gender not reported) traveling from Montenegro were attacked and robbed of cash and valuables by a group of seven armed K-Albanian males. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. ASSAULT Mitrovica South - 02/03 - 1100 hrs. During a vehicle check, a K-Albanian male was arrested for assaulting two KPS officers with a stick. One officer received minor injuries to his thumb. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Zvecan Town - 01/03 - 2245 hrs. An UNMIK vehicle was involved in a one-vehicle accident.
