Pec Region <> Two K-Bosnian truck drivers detained for smuggling. Mitrovica Region <> Accommodation of an UNMIK Police Officer burglarized. >>>>>> REGION PRISTINA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ASSAULT Milosobelic Village, Obilic - 03/03 - 1900 hrs. Unknown persons threw a tear gas canister in a Gypsy owned residence. The shell exploded and three people who were in the house at the time of the attack were affected by the gas. One male sustained a minor injury to his right hand. Investigation continuing. THREATS Pristina - 03/03 - 1530 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested for threatening two KPS officers with physical harm. No injuries were reported. >>>>>> REGION GNJILANE >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS THREATS/INTIMIDATION <> Gnjilane Town - 03/03 - 2400 hrs. Two K-Albanian females reported that they had been taken to a residence where two K-Albanian males threatened them with a firearm and an axe. The victims were able to flee. No injuries were reported and the two suspects were arrested. <> Pozahran Village, Vitina - 03/03 - 0915 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested after they threatened two police officers. ASSAULT Urosevac Town - 03/03 - 1600 hrs. A K-Bosnian female reported that she had briefly left her son in a restaurant and, when she returned, she found that a K-Albanian male had manhandled him and tied him with a rope. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON Novo Selo Village, Kamenica - 03/03 - 1930 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found to be in possession of one submachine gun. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS FOUND UXO Urosevac Town - 03/03 - 0750 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported finding an unexploded grenade in front of his shop. KFOR EOD safely disposed of the device. FIRE Urosevac Town - 03/03 - 2342 hrs. A fire was reported in a school building. The fire was immediately contained but no estimate of the damage was reported. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT <> Urosevac Town - 03/03 - 0540 hrs. A K-Albanian male was injured when his vehicle was involved in a one-vehicle accident. <> Urosevac Town - 03/03 - 1856 hrs. A K-Albanian male pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle driven by a K-Albanian male. >>>>>> REGION PRIZREN >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS THREATS Prizren - 03/03 - 1520 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that he was threatened with a pistol by a known K-Albanian male. No injuries were reported. ASSAULT Orahovac Town - 03/03 - 2100 hrs. A K-Albanian male suspected of involvement in drug dealing was arrested for assaulting his mother while KPS officers were carrying out an investigation at the family's residence. ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING Prizren - 02/03 - 2340 hrs. Two Albanian males were arrested after it was discovered that they had illegally crossed the border into Kosovo without the required travel documents. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS UXO FOUND Orahovac Town - 03//03 - 0830 hrs. An unidentified person reported to a KPS Officer that he had found a hand grenade. KFOR EOD disposed of the device without incident. >>>>>> REGION PEC >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS SMUGGLING Veric Village, Istok - 02/03 - 2000 hrs. Two trucks driven by K-Bosnian drivers were intercepted and found to have not cleared customs. Both suspects were turned over to Customs officials. >>> OTHER INCIDENT/EVENTS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Dakovica Town - 01/03 - 09447 hrs. An UNMIK vehicle and a civilian vehicle were involved in a non-injury accident. >>>>>> REGION MITROVICA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS BURGLARY Mitrovica North - 02/03 - No time reported. An UNMIK Police officer reported that unknown suspect(s) had burglarized his residence and taken cash and property valued at 2500DM. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS FOUND UXO Mitrovica North - 03/03 - 1910 hrs. A K-Serbian male reported locating an unexploded grenade in the street. KFOR EOD safely disposed of the device. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Leposavic Town - 03/03 - 1845 hrs. A vehicle driven by an intoxicated K-Serbian male struck another vehicle (gender and ethnicity not reported). The K-Serbian male received minor injuries in the accident. >>>>>> BORDER POLICE <> PRISTINA AIRPORT FALSE PASSPORT 02/03. One K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using a false passport. Exit was refused and the document was seized. STOLEN PASSPORT 02/03. One K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using a stolen passport that was seized. ALTERED PASSPORT 02/03. One K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using an altered passport. Exit was refused and the document was seized. <> GENERAL JANKOVIC FALSE PASSPORT 02/03.
