Mitrovica Region <> K-Albanian male seriously injures his son after beating. >>>>>> REGION PRISTINA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ATTEMPTED MURDER Slovenia Village, Lipljan - 04/03 - 1245 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for shooting his brother in the leg with a pistol after an argument. The victim is in stable condition. ASSAULT Pristina - 04/03 - 0230 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for assaulting a KPS Officer. POSSESSION OF COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY Pristina - 04/03 - 2000 hrs. Three K-Albanian males and one female were arrested after they were found in possession of counterfeit currency. A follow up search at their apartments resulted in the recovery of one pistol with 8 bullets and an air type pistol. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS MISSING PERSON Caglavica Village, Pristina - 04/03 - 0200 hrs. A 14-year-old K-Serbian female was reported missing by her parents. No further information was available. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION GNJILANE >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ATTEMPTED MURDER Kopernica Village, Kamenica - 04/03 - 1730 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that, while he was driving towards Kamenica, three unknown suspects in a vehicle that was parked beside the roadway began firing at his vehicle. The victim's vehicle was struck five times causing minor injury to the victim from broken glass. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON <> Letnica Village, Vitina - 04/03 - 0530 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested after they were found to be in possession of one hunting rifle, three shotguns and 151 rounds of ammunition. <> Letnica Village, Vitina - 04/03 - 0530 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found to be in possession of one pistol with magazine and ammunition. <> Letnica Village, Vitina -04/03 - 0530 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested after they were found to be in possession of one 60mm mortar grenade, two rifle grenades, one hand grenade and ammunition. <> Gnjilane Town - 04/03 - 1615 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested after they were found to be in possession of a firearm. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS EXPLOSION Nika Village, Kacanik - 03/03 - 1700 hrs. Three K-Albanian children ages, five, seven and twelve were injured when an apparent mine exploded. All victims were transported to the hospital for treatment. UXO FOUND Gaqka Village, Urosevac - 04/03 - 1010 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported finding an unexploded missile. KFOR EOD safely disposed of the device. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Gnjilane Town - 03/03 - 1730 hrs. A K-Albanian male was injured when the vehicle he was driving struck a horse drawn cart. >>>>>> REGION PRIZREN >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ROBBERY Prizren - 03/03 - 1830 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that ten unknown persons robbed him of his motor vehicle. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. KIDNAPPING ARRESTS Nebrogoste Village, Prizren - 04/03 - 1500 hrs. Three K-Albanian males suspected of kidnapping a K-Albanian female on 07/01 were arrested following investigations carried out by UNMIK Police. One rifle, two hand grenades, documents and an amount of cash were recovered and confiscated. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING <> Krusevo Village, Dragash - 04/03 - 1210 hrs. Two Albanian males were arrested after it was discovered that they had illegally crossed the border into Kosovo from Albania without the required travel documents. <> Prizren - 03/03 - 2130 hrs. An Albanian male was arrested for illegally crossing the border into Kosovo and for possession of a false driving license. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Prizren - 04//03 - 1300 hrs. A KFOR vehicle was involved in minor non-injury traffic accident with a local vehicle. Minor damage was reported. >>>>>> REGION PEC >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ARMED ROBBERY Pec Town - 03/03 - 1830 hrs. Three masked men, two of who were armed with a gun and an iron rod, attacked a K-Albanian male who sells SIM cards. The victim was then robbed of cash and two boxes of SIM cards. Investigation continuing. SUSPECTED ARSON Klina Town - 03/03 - 1700 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that his haystack had been set on fire. The cause of the fire is unknown. The fire was safely extinguished and no injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENT/EVENTS SUICIDE Kalicane Village, Istok - 03/03 - 0945 hrs. A K-Albanian female ingested poison in order to commit suicide. The victim was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. UXO FOUND Dakovica Town - 04/03 - 0950 hrs. An UNMIK patrol located an unexploded grenade near a roadway. KFOR EOD safely disposed of the device. >>>>>> REGION MITROVICA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS GREVIOUS ASSAULT Srbica Town - 04/03 - morning hrs. A K-Albanian female reported that her husband had beaten their son with a club, causing him serious bodily injury. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Investigation continuing. THREATS/INTIMIDATION Mitrovica South - 04/03 - 0955 hrs. An off-duty KPS officer was following a vehicle which then stopped and four suspects exited. Two of the suspects were armed with knives and began to approach the KPS officer. Another KPS officer who had arrived on the scene fired a warning shot to prevent the attack. Three suspects were then apprehended while one was able to flee. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON Turicevac Village, Srbica - 04/03 - 2120 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that his brother had assaulted him. During the subsequent investigation,investigators recovered one machine gun and ammunition. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS UXO FOUND Samadrexha Village, Vucitrn - 04/03 - 1155 hrs. A Group of villagers reported that they had found an unexploded hand grenade. One K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using a false passport. Exit was refused and the document was seized. <> 03/03. Three K-Albanians attempted to exit Kosovo using false passports that were seized. <> 03/03. Two K-Albanians attempted to exit Kosovo using false passports that were seized. STOLEN PASSPORT 03/03. One K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using a stolen passport that was seized. ALTERED PASSPORT 03/03. Two K-Albanians attempted to exit Kosovo using altered passports. Exit was refused and the documents were seized. <><> GENERAL JANKOVIC FALSE PASSPORT 03/03. One K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using a stolen passport and a British travel document that were seized. STOLEN PASSPORT 03/03. Three K-Albanians attempted to cross the border using stolen passports. The documents were seized and they were released into Kosovo.
