Gnjilane Region : K-Albanian male and female shot and injured in attempted robbery. Prizren Region : K-Albanian child sustains minor gunshot wound in robbery attempt. Pec Region : K-Bosnian residence shot at. No injuries. Mitrovica Region: NGO vehicle set on fire by Molotov cocktail. No injuries. =============== PRISTINA Region =============== ::ARMED ROBBERY:: Kosovo Polje Town - 13/03 - 0915 hrs. Three unknown persons armed with pistols stole a large amount of cash after tying up an accountant and his female colleague at the Kosovo Polje Railway station. No physical injuries were reported. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. BURGLARY Pristina - 13/03 - 2015 hrs. Unknown persons broke into a house of an UNMIK employee and stole several unlisted items. =============== GNJILANE Region =============== ::ATTEMPTED MURDER:: Malishevo Village, Gnjilane - 13/03 - 2040 hrs. Two unknown suspects, one armed with an unknown type firearm, demanded money from a K-Albanian male and a K-Albanian female. Suddenly they opened fire at the couple. Both victims sustained minor injuries. The female victim was hospitalized. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. THREATS * Gnjilane - 12/03 - 1300 hrs. Four unknown K-Albanian males threatened a K-Roma female as she was walking home. No physical injuries were reported. * Gnjilane - 13/03 - 2010 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he threatened a female KPS officer who issued him a traffic citation. No physical injuries were reported. ============== PRIZREN Region ============== ::ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY:: Orahovac Town - 12/03 - 2300 hrs. Three unknown armed masked male suspects forcibly entered a K-Albanian home and demanded money from the owner. The suspects fired three shots into the air causing a ricochet to strike a child who sustained a minor head injury. In addition, a second child sustained minor leg injuries when she jumped from a balcony in an effort to flee. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. HARBORING A FUGITIVE Shadervan Village, Prizren - 13/03 - 0300 hrs. UNMIK Police conducted a raid on a residence where two escaped convicts were located hiding in an attic. Two other K-Albanian males who were in the residence were also arrested for harboring a fugitive. TRAFFICKING OF WOMEN Prizren - 13/03 - 1700 hrs. UNMIK Police arrested two K-Albanian males for trafficking of women for prostitution. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING Orcusa Village, Dragash - 13/-3 - 0900 hrs. UNMIK Police arrested an Albanian male for illegal border crossing. He was later turned over to Albanian border authorities. ========== PEC Region ========== ::SHOOTING:: * Ljubovo Village, Istok - 12/03 - 2130 hrs. Unknown suspects opened fire with an unknown type firearm at the home of an elderly K-Bosnian couple. Only minor property damage was caused. No physical injuries were reported. * Decane Town - 13/03- 2300 hrs. A K-Albanian male was accidentally shot in his left upper thigh with a pistol by one his friends, who took him to a hospital, were his condition was listed as non-life threatening. The suspect was processed at Pec Station. ASSAULT Pec - 10/03 - 2130 hrs. Two K-Albanians were arrested after assaulting an on duty KPS officer. No physical injuries were reported. NARCOTICS SEIZURE Dakovica Town - 12/03 - 1900 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for possession of a quantity of a liquid believed to be LSD and ammunition. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS * Istok Town - 13/03 - 0730 hrs. AK-Albanian male was arrested after being found in possession of a rifle and ammunition. The items were confiscated. * Sisman Village, Dakovica - 13/03 - 0900 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after a search of his house resulted in the seizure of five assault rifles, a pistol, a grenade, magazines, ammunition and several meters of explosive fuse. ================ MITROVICA Region ================ ::ARSON:: Zvecan Village, Mitrovica North - 13/03 - 2152 hrs. Unknown persons broke the window of a vehicle belonging to the NGO 'International Organization for Migration' and threw Molotov Cocktails through the open window setting it on fire. No physical injuries were reported. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ARMED ROBBERY Bukosh Village, Vucitrn - 12/03 - 0005 hrs. Four unknown male suspects, armed with an assault rifle, robbed a K-Albanian male of cash. No physical injuries were reported. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPON Zupce Village, Zubin Potok - 13/03 - 1630 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found in possession of an assault rifle, which was confiscated. ============= BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- FALSE DOCUMENT 12/03 - 1200 hrs. A K-Albanian male attempted to exit Kosovo using a false Belgium travel document and Identification card, which were seized, and exit denied. DENERAL JANKOVIC ---------------- FALSE PASSPORT 12/03 - 1400 hrs. Customs officials seized two Yugoslavian and three Macedonian passports all bearing the picture of one individual. Documents were handed over to UNMIK Police. VRBNICA ------- ALTERED DOCUMENT 12/03. Two K-Albanians attempted to cross the border and presented altered Yugoslavian passports, which were seized. FALSE DOCUMENT 12/03 - 1045 hrs. A K-Albanian attempted to enter Kosovo while in possession of a false Yugoslavian drivers license, which was seized. CAFA PRUSHIT ------------ ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING 12/03 - 1610 hrs.
