Mitrovica Region : K-Albanian male struck and killed by vehicle. =============== PRISTINA Region =============== ::ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPON:: Stimlje Village, Lipljan - 16/03 - 0030 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for shooting several times in the air with a pistol outside a restaurant. No injuries or damage were reported. =============== GNJILANE Region =============== ::ATTEMPTED MURDER:: Rogocica Village, Kamenica - 16/03 - 1800 hrs. Two unknown armed male suspects forcibly entered a K-Albanian home and began shooting with an unknown type firearm at the male owner but missed him. The suspects then fled. No physical injuries were reported. Two suspects were detained later. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON * Malishevo Village, Gnjilane- 15/03 - 2230 hrs. UNMIK Police arrested a K-Albanian male after he was found in possession of 5 hand grenades. The items were seized. * Urosevac Town - 16/03 - 1900 hrs. A K-Albanian male was detained after he was found in possession of a semi-automatic pistol, magazine and ammunition. The items were seized. * Babush Village, Urosevac - 16/03 - 2250 hrs. A K-Albanian male was detained after he was found in possession of a pistol, magazine and ammunition. The items were seized. THEFT Kamenica Town - 16/03 - 1515 hrs. Three K-Albanian males were arrested for the theft of a handbag from a K-Albanian female. ILLEGAL WOOD CUTTING Urosevac Town - 16/03 - 0930 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for illegally cutting down 62 trees. ============== PRIZREN Region ============== ::ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS:: Qollak Village, Prizren - 16/03 - 1500 hrs. UNMIK Police arrested two K-Albanian males after a house search revealed that they were in possession of numerous weapons and ammunition, along with explosives and explosive device detonating equipment. Investigation continuing. THEFT Garalluka Village, Prizren - 16/03 - 0330 hrs. Three K-Albanian males were arrested for the theft of cement pillars from a local agricultural company. ========== PEC Region ========== ::ATTEMPTED MURDER:: Pavlan Village, Pec - 16/03 - 2230 hrs. - 2300 hrs. Unknown persons driving in a car shot with an unknown type firearm at a K-Albanian male security guard. One bullet struck him in the leg causing a minor injury. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPON * Babaloc Village, Decani - 15/03 - 0800 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found in possession of two assault rifles and ammunition during a house search. The items were seized. * Gjakova Town - 16/03 - 2320 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found in possession of a pistol. The weapon was seized. SMUGGLING Istok Town - 16/03 - 0840 hrs. A K-Bosnian male truck driver was detained after he was found carrying cement without customs clearance. ================ MITROVICA Region ================ ::FATAL TRAFFIC ACCIDENT:: Studime Village, Vucitrn - 16/03 - 0910 hrs. A K-Albanian male driver struck a K-Albanian male pedestrian. The victim immediately died at the spot. The driver was arrested. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. BURGLARY Mitrovica North - 14/03 - Nighttime. An UNMIK Police officer reported that unknown persons broke into his flat and stole several items. ============= BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT FALSE DOCUMENT * 15/03. Four K-Albanians attempted to exit Kosovo using false Yugoslavian passports, which were seized. Exit was denied. * 14/03. A K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using a false Yugoslavian passport and Swiss permit of stay, which was seized. Exit was denied. * 14/03. A K-Albanian male attempted to exit Kosovo using a false Croatian passport, which was seized. Exit was denied. * 15/03. A K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using false Italian permit of stay, which was seized. Exit was refused. FALSE DOCUMENT 15/03 - 0545 hrs. A K-Albanian attempted to cross the border and presented a false Yugoslavian drivers license, which was seized. CAFA PRUSHIT ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING 15/03.
