Pec Region <> K-Albanian male arrested for weapons possession. Mitrovica Region <> Four robberies reported. No injuries. >>>>>> REGION PRISTINA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS SHOOTING Lipljan - 20/03 - 1345 hrs. An unknown male fired several rounds using an AK-47 rifle. The suspect's vehicle was later found parked near an apartment, and the weapon was recovered from the vehicle. A search of the apartment discovered a pistol, two magazines and ammunition. No injuries were reported but there minor damage to property. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF AMMUNITON Carraleva Village, Stimlje - 19/03 - 1135 hrs. A KFOR search of a vehicle with three Macedonian Albanian males discovered 40 rounds of ammunition. Investigation continuing. BURGLARY Pristina - 19/03 - 2300 hrs. An international employee of UNMIK reported that unknown persons broke into his rented accommodation, taking a cell phone and cash. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS FATAL TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Durkovce Village, Lipljan - 20/03 - 0923 hrs. Three K-Albanians (a male, female and child) were killed after the vehicle they were traveling in collided with a truck. The truck driver sustained injuries but his condition was reported as non-life threatening. SUSPECTED UXO Pristina - 20/03 - 1400 hrs. Three separate incidents of suspicious objects were reported. KFOR EOD carried out investigations that included a controlled explosion in order to ascertain the items. No injuries were reported. >>>>>> REGION GNJILANE >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ASSAULT Gnjilane - 19/03 - (time not reported). A K-Albanian female reported to UNMIK Police that she was assaulted by a known K-Albanian male. No injuries reported. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS EVENTS FIRE <> Blato Village, Kamenica - 19/03 - 0505 hrs. A K-Albanian owned home and barn were completely destroyed by fire that was suspicious in nature. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. <> Kacanik Town - 19/03 - 2000 hrs. UNMIK Police discovered a fire in a minefield. The Fire Brigade responded where it was extinguished. No injuries or damages were reported. >>>>>> REGION PRIZREN >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ROBBERY Prizren - 20/03 - 0715 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested after they stole a bicycle belonging to a K-Bosnian male. No injuries were reported. ASSAULT Orahovac Town - 20/03 - 1610 hrs. Two groups of K-Albanian males were in involved in a fight during which six of them received minor injuries. Investigation continuing. BURGLARY <> Dragash Town - 19/03 - 2330 hrs. An UNMIK Police officer reported that unknown person(s) burglarized his accommodation. Investigation continuing. <> Prizren - 19/03 - Time not reported. A K-Albanian male security guard reported that unknown person(s) broke into an office at the bus station and stole two rifles and ammunition. Investigation continuing. THEFT Dragash Town - 20/03 - 1430 hrs. Three K-Albanian males were arrested for theft of telephone cables. ILLEGAL WOOD CUTTING Dragash Town - 19/03 - 2130 hrs. Five K-Albanian males were arrested for illegal woodcutting. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL Prizren - 19/03 - 2330 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS FATAL TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Prizren - 20/03 - 1430 hrs. A female pedestrian, ethnicity unknown, was killed when a vehicle struck her. Investigation continuing. DEATH FROM APPARENT LAND MINE EXPLOSION Suva Reka Town - 20/03 - 2210 hrs. A K-Albanian male's body was found in a minefield after an explosion. Investigation continuing. HUMAN REMAINS FOUND Orahovac Town - 20/03 - 1430 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that he found skeletal remains. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION PEC >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPON Jahoc Village, Dakovica - 18/03 - 1500 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after a search of his residence discovered an AK-47 rifle, two magazines, one hand grenade, and 102 rounds of ammunition. ASSAULT Kotradiq Village, Pec - 19/03 - 1230 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that three K-Albanian males assaulted him with an iron pipe. Minor injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS UXO FOUND <> Marmull Village, Dakovica - 19/03 - 2300 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that he found an anti tank rocket near his residence. KFOR EOD safely disposed of the device. <> Pec - 19/03 - 2305 hrs. A hand grenade was located on the roadway. KFOR EOD safely carried out a controlled explosion. >>>>>> REGION MITROVICA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ARMED ROBBERY <> Stanovc Village, Vucitrn - 19/03 - 1945 hrs. Two Algerian males reported being robbed at gunpoint by a group of unknown male suspects who were armed with pistols. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. <> Mitrovica South - 20/03 - 0302 hrs. Two K-Albanian males reported four unknown masked males armed with AK 47 rifles and pistols, entered their restaurant and robbed them of cash and valuables. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. <> Mitrovica South - 20/03 - Daytime Hrs. A K-Albanian female employee of Western Union was robbed by 2 K-Albanian males who entered the establishment and sprayed her in the face with a chemical agent. The suspects then took an undetermined amount of cash and fled. Investigation continuing. ROBBERY Mitrovica North - 17/03 - 1715 hrs. An UNMIK Police Officer reported that an unknown male suspect forcibly removed her handbag from her shoulder while she was walking near the East Bridge. The suspect then fled with the item. One K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using a false British passport, which was seized, and exit was denied. <> 19/03. Five K-Albanians attempted to enter Kosovo using false Yugoslavian passports, which were seized. FALSE DOCUMENTS 19/03. A K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using a false United States travel document, which was seized, and exit was denied. VERBNICA FALSE PASSPORT 19/03. Four K-Albanians attempted to cross the border using false Yugoslavian passports, which were seized. FALSE DOCUMENT 19/03. Two K-Albanians attempted to cross the border using false Yugoslavian drivers licenses, which were seized. CAFA PRUSHIT FALSE DOCUMENTS 19/03.
