Pec Region : Two K-Albanians arrested for theft. Mitrovica Region: UNMIK vehicle stolen by unknown suspects. =============== PRISTINA Region =============== <> ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY Pristina - 23/03 - 2050 hrs. Three unknown male persons, two of them armed with pistols, forced a K-Albanian male into their vehicle with the attempt to rob him. The victim managed to escape with minor injuries. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. UXO FOUND Lipljan Town - 23/03 - 1435 hrs. A hand grenade was located near the railway road tracks. KFOR EOD safely carried out a controlled explosion. No physical injuries were reported. =============== GNJILANE Region =============== <> DEMONSTRATION Gnjilane - 23/03 - 1200 hrs. Approximately 7500 K-Albanians staged a peaceful demonstration against the violence in Macedonia. The rally ended peacefully. No incidents were reported. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS * Zaskok Village, Urosevac - 23/03 - 1857 hrs. A K-Albanian male was detained after he was found in possession of a pistol and ammunition during a search of his vehicle. * Buzevic Village, Vitina - 23/03 - 2030 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found in possession of pistol and ammunition. The weapon was seized. ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING Urosevac Town - 23/03 - 0200 hrs. UNMIK Police arrested a Moldavian female for illegal border crossing. ============== PRIZREN Region ============== <> GRIEVOUS ASSAULT Prizren - 23/03 - 1730 hrs. A K-Albanian male was stabbed three times by an unknown K-Albanian male after an altercation. The victim was hospitalized in serious condition. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. THREATS/INTIMIDATION Prizren - 23/03 - 0050 hrs. A K-Albanian male security guard was approached by four unknown armed masked male suspects, who demanded that he give them the address of the main office to which he is employed with. The suspects then fled. No physical injuries were reported. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING Gornje Ljubinje Village, Malishevo - 22/03 - 1500 hrs. Five Macedonian Albanians were detained after they were found to have illegally crossed the border into Kosovo. ========== PEC Region ========== <> THEFT Dakovica Town - 22/03 - 1400 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested for stealing building timber. ================ MITROVICA Region ================ <> AUTO THEFT Zubin Potok - 22/03 - nighttime. Unknown person(s) stole a white UN vehicle while it was parked at a residence. ASSAULT Runik Village, Srbica - 22/03 - 1840 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were assaulted by five known K-Albanians males. Neither physical injuries nor arrests were reported. ============= BORDER Police ============= PRISTINA AIRPORT ---------------- FALSE PASSPORTS 21/03. Three K-Albanians attempted to exit, while one attempted enter Kosovo using false Yugoslavian passports, which were seized. FALSE DOCUMENTS * 21/03 - 22/03. One K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo using a false Swiss permit of stay, while another presented a false Belgium identification card, which were seized. Exit was denied. * 22/03 - 1500 hrs. A K-Albanian male was detained for being in possession of a false Yugoslavian drivers license and a false Belgium identification card, which were seized. VRBNICA ------- FALSE PASSPORT 22/03 - 2000 hrs. A K-Albanian attempted to exit Kosovo and presented a false Yugoslavian passport. The document was seized and exit denied. STOLEN PASSPORT 22/03 - 2030 hrs. A K-Albanian attempted to leave Kosovo and was found with a passport that was reported stolen.
