No incidents. >>>>>> REGION PRISTINA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS BURGLARY Pristina - 27/03 - 1145 hrs. Unknown persons broke into a UN vehicle and stole various items. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT <> Pristina - 28/03 - 1500 hrs. A seven-year-old K-Albanian female sustained minor injuries after she was struck by a UN vehicle. Victim was taken to hospital for treatment and was later discharged. <> Pristina - 28/03 - 1700 hrs. A UN vehicle was involved in a non-injury accident with a local vehicle. Minor damage was reported. >>>>>> REGION GNJILANE >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS Gnjilane - 27/03 - 1930 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found to be in possession of an automatic pistol during a vehicle stop. The weapon was confiscated. ARSON Gnjilane - 27/03 - 2040 hrs. A K-Roma male reported that unknown suspect(s) had set his house on fire. The blaze was extinguished and there was minor damage. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. CRIMINAL DAMAGE Popovica Village, Gnjilane - 27/03 - 2020 hrs. A Polish female reported that unknown suspect(s) smashed several windows in her house. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. ASSAULT <> Pojat Village, Urosevac - 27/03 - 1100 hrs. A K-Albanian male was assaulted by another K-Albanian male over a cattle dispute. Minor injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. <> Kacanik Town - 28/03 - 1145 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he assaulted UNMIK Police and KPS officers. Minor injuries were reported. THREATS Kamenica Town - 27/03 - 1745 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that another K-Albanian male threatened him because he was a witness against the suspect's brother in a pending court case. Investigation continuing. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL Urosevac Town - 27/03 - 1954 hrs. An intoxicated K-Albanian male was arrested after he struck a parked UNMIK Police Vehicle. Minor injuries were reported. >>>>>> REGION PRIZREN >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ABDUCTION Lubizda Village, Prizren - 27/03 - 1320 hrs. A K-Albanian female reported that she was abducted by two unknown male suspects and forced to work as a prostitute. The victim managed to escape after being held for 3 days. Investigation continuing. TRAFFICKING IN WOMEN Prizren - 28/03 - Time Not Reported. UNMIK Police arrested a K-Albanian male after an investigation revealed his involvement in the trafficking of women for prostitution. THEFT Bajam Curri Village, Prizren - 27/03 - 0001 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that unknown person(s) stole a generator belonging to the NGO "Nova Frontera". Investigation continuing. ARSON Orahovac Town - 28/03 - 0550 hrs. An unoccupied K-Serbian residence was set on fire by unknown suspect(s). There was interior damage to the structure and no injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS HUMAN REMAINS FOUND Musutiste Village, Suva Reka - 28/03 - 1230 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported to UNMIK Police that he had found what appeared to be human skeletal remains. Investigation continuing. DEMONSTRATION Malishevo Town - 28/03 - 1250 hrs. Approximately 350 K-Albanian students from the primary and secondary schools staged a peaceful demonstration in support of the ethnic Albanians in Macedonia. The event ended peacefully and there were no incidents reported. MEMORIAL CEREMONY Zur Village, Prizren - 28/03 - 0900 hrs. Approximately 2000 K-Albanians participated in a memorial ceremony. A K-Albanian male was arrested for attempting to abduct a K-Albanian female. No injuries were reported. ASSAULT Zlokucane Village, Klina - 27/03 - 1830 hrs. A K-Albanian male reported that he was assaulted by three armed unknown males and one known female. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON <> Vitomirica Village, Pec - 27/03 - 2330 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a pistol and ammunition, which were seized. <> Ljubenic Village, Pec - 28/03 - 0210 hrs. Two K-Albanian males were arrested after they were found to be in possession of an AK 47 rifle and ammunition, which were seized. DANGEROUS DRIVING Klina Town - 28/03 - 1000 hrs. Two K-Albanian male members of the TMK attempted to avoid a checkpoint and were arrested after a car chase. SMUGGLING Pec - 27/03 - 2230 hrs. A K-Bosnian male was arrested after he attempted to avoid paying customs duties. THREATS/INTIMIDATION Istok Town - 27/03 - 1130 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested after threatening another K-Albanian male. AUTO THEFT Klina Town - 28/03 - 1330 hrs. A male suspect (ethnicity not reported) was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle BURGLARY Djakovica Town - 27/03 - 1130 hrs. A German male employee of the NGO "THW" reported a burglary of his residence in which a laptop computer and satellite receiver were taken. Investigation continuing. >>>>>> REGION MITROVICA >>> CRIMINAL INCIDENTS ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS <> Duboka Village, Leposavic - 28/03 - 1500 hrs. A K-Serbian male was arrested after a house search discovered a machine gun, shot gun, detonators, fuses, assorted weapon parts and ammunition. <> Pantina Village, Vucitrn - 27/03 - 2305 hrs. A KFOR search of a vehicle (whose occupants fled from the scene) resulted in the recovery of mortar shells, mines, and rockets. Investigation continuing. <> Vucitrn Town - 28/03 - 2145 hrs. A K-Albanian male was arrested for shooting in the air with a pistol, which was confiscated. ASSAULT Mitrovica South - 27/03 - 1230 hrs. A German national employee of the OSCE reported that two K-Albanian males attacked his vehicle while it was occupied by two K-Serbians passengers. No injuries or damage were reported. Investigation continuing. ARMED ASSAULT Srbica Town - 28/03 - 1130 hrs. A K-Albanian male sustained minor injuries after he was struck on the head with a handgun during a fight with two other K-Albanian males. Investigation continuing. ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION Glodernica Village, Srbica - 27/03 - 1730 hrs. A K-Serbian female reported that six unknown male persons attempted to abduct her but she managed to escape. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. THREATS/INTIMIDATION Lower Klina, Srbica - 26/03 - 2200 hrs. Two persons (ethnicity not known) threatened and insulted three KPS Officers during a traffic stop. No injuries were reported. Investigation continuing. >>> OTHER INCIDENTS/EVENTS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Lesak Village, Leposavic - 28/03 - 1310 hrs. A K-Serbian male sustained serious injuries after the vehicle he was driving overturned. He was admitted to a local hospital. MEMORIAL SERVICE Izibica Village, Srbica - 28/03 - 1230 hrs.
