Participating Countries
(
4366 Police Officers as of 17 Mar 2001)
The international police component in the United Nations Interim
Administration Mission in Kosovo consist of officers sent by
their mother countries to serve with the UN. Regardless of their
national experience, all of them have to follow the
international standard of policing. Since former SRSG
requested for more police officers, still the number of
contributing countries is expected to be higher.
